 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Navigate to the home page and select the tier you would like to sign up for. Create and verify your account, enter your payment details, then start talking to My Broker Coach.

  • Your payment information will be processed by Stripe. For more information on their privacy or operational practices, visit www.stripe.com. Your credit card will be processed once you confirm your purchase, and be charged that amount at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel your subscription.

  • Click on the My Broker Coach application and "Call My Broker Coach" to launch the application.

    -Get Ready to Engage: After the introductory statement finishes, the coach is ready to interact with you.

    -Speak: Hold the space bar (or microphone icon if using an iPhone) while speaking, releasing it only after finishing your entire statement. The microphone icon and bar underneath will turn red while your input is being received. If you release the space bar (or microphone icon if using an iPhone) before finishing your entire statement, the application may not hear it all.

    -Response: Releasing the space bar (or microphone icon if using an iPhone) will allow the tutor to process your input and respond. A spinning wheel will appear next to the microphone icon while your input is being processed. It may take a few seconds, especially if your statement was long.

    -Interrupt: Tap and hold the space bar (or microphone icon if using an iPhone) to interrupt the expert at any time and speak as you hold the space key. To simply get the expert to stop talking, tap the space bar (or microphone icon if using an iPhone) once.

    -Chat: Click the keyboard icon to chat with the expert. You can mute the sound if you prefer by right clicking on the browser tab and selecting “mute site.” You’ll want to “unmute” when finished.

    -Timeout: Your interaction with the expert will time out after 10 minutes of inactivity. You can re-enter the experience by clicking into the same section again.

  • We say you either get 1 hour (Essential) or 2 hours (Enhanced), depending on the plan you choose. Without sharing too much technical jargon, according to the National Institute of Speech, the average rate of conversation for English speakers is 150 WPM. We break this average down into tokens based on what you say to My Broker Coach.

    Do not worry, there is not a call timer; so, you can take as long as you need to get through the allotted talk time within the current subscription period. Each month on the day of your subscription renewal, this time allotment will reset.

  • If you want to upgrade, from within the My Broker Coach tool, click your profile icon and "manage subscription." You'll be taken into Stripe where you can choose the higher plan if you are currently enrolled in the lowest plan. You'll be charged the difference in cost and be credited the difference in available talk time.

    Each month on the day of your subscription renewal, you'll start at the higher tier unless you modify your service level.

    If you just want to purchase 30 minutes of extra talk time rather than upgrade your tier, you can click your profile icon within My Broker Coach and select "purchase tokens" for a one-time refill.

    Bear in mind, each month on the day of your subscription renewal, your time allotment will reset.

  • To cancel your subscription, from within the My Broker Coach tool, click your profile icon and "manage subscription." You'll be taken into Stripe where you can manage your subscription and choose to cancel it.

    You will not receive a prorated refund if you cancel during an active subscription term. Auto-renew will be turned off so you will not be billed at the start of the following billing cycle.

  • That's right! My Broker Coach for individual consumers is a month-to-month subscription product. In the unlikely event you want out, be sure to cancel your subscription before the beginning of your next billing cycle otherwise you'll be charged the monthly subscription fee.

  • My Broker Coach leverages curated data from NAR and expert real estate brokerage owners and agents, passed through a bounded large language model, to bring you on-demand insights 24/7.

    Bounded means My Broker Coach will not deviate from the subject matter, will not pull incorrect insights into its answers, and will provide you with accurate answers to your questions.

  • To access My Broker Coach, you can log in with your existing credentials at https://showtime.arkproject.com. You must have an existing account that has been created through this site to log in there.

    You will enter your username and password on that homepage, not using Single Sign-On.

  • If you cancel your subscription then later decide to restart it, you may come across a screen that says "subscription required" when you attempt to login again with your existing credentials.

    This is because you do not have an active subscription to our service. Click the button to purchase a subscription tier from that page. After you complete checkout with Stripe, you will be redirected to your home page to use the service again.

    If you do not have an active subscription, the "subscription required" page will appear until you purchase one.

  • When you successfully cancel your subscription, automatic billing will be turned off.

    When you cancel your subscription, your ability to ask questions of the broker coach will immediately turn off. Any outstanding balance of talk time you had remaining will be forfeited.

    If you cancel your subscription after we've processed your payment, we will not be able to refund the charge for you or pro-rate what you used.

  • Our application is optimized for Google Chrome, but can also work with browsers like Safari. We recommend you have the most current version of your browser for the best experience.

  • Some AI technology is novel, so certain behaviors may be considered normal or acceptable.

    On rare occasions, you may notice irregular voice modulations (grunts/extra sounds or changes in octave or force) which are considered normal.

    Should you experience any undesirable latency, check your Wi-Fi connection. Based on the length of your input, the system may take longer to process and respond a longer input versus a short one.

    If "the application is not hearing me" (your speech-to-text input is not being recorded), check for the below then depress and hold the space key and try again.

    • Ensure your microphone input volume is not too low.

    • Ensure you are speaking normally and clearly. There's no need to yell at it or raise your voice, but it's important to speak normally and clearly.

    • Ensure you are depressing and holding the space key for the duration of your spoken input.

    • Although designed to be interrupted by tapping the space bar, the user may need to tap then hold the space bar before speaking their next input. When interrupting the coach's spoken response, it's recommended to hold the space bar to interrupt and immediately begin speaking your next input instead of engaging the key twice. Interruption may cause a negligible amount of latency to the next response.

    If you are having trouble getting the page to load, clear your cache and cookies, exit your browser, and try again. Also check your browser version and ensure it's the most up-to-date version.

    If you are not hearing sound, ensure your speakers are turned up. Ensure your browser tab is not muted. Ensure you did not disallow a permission necessary to stream audio. If you are using an iPhone, be sure to click "Allow Audio Playback" to hear the voice.

    If you gave an input but the "processing" wheel will not stop spinning, try interrupting the application and trying your input again.

  • If your microphone input is not high enough or you’re not speaking clearly, the system may not process your input. We recommend checking mic input volume before using the application for the first time.

  • You can text with the coach at any time by clicking the keyboard icon, typing your inputs, and depressing the "Enter" key. The coach will both respond in text and speak the response. If you do not want to hear a spoken response, you can either mute your speakers or mute the browser tab.

  • At this time, there is not a way to re-enter a session that you have exited.

  • You can ask the coach to speak slower/faster or give shorter/longer responses.

    You can also guide it to give you more or less complex or technical answers.

  • If you are using an iPhone, be sure to click "Allow Audio Playback" to hear the voice once you've entered the application.

  • You can access My Broker Coach from https://showtime.arkproject.com and use your credentials to log in. Do not select "log in via Single Sign-On", just use your credentials in the default login screen.
